What we collect

We only collect the information you choose to give us through our forms:

  • Contact & enquiry formsYour name, email and message.
  • Course bookingsYour name, email, phone, chosen programme, intake and any notes.
  • Membership applicationsYour name, email, phone, membership type and background details.
  • Member & staff accountsYour email address and an encrypted authentication record.

How we use it & legal basis

We use your data to respond to enquiries, process bookings and applications, and operate member and staff accounts. Our lawful bases are your consent and the steps necessary to take pre-contract action at your request and to deliver our services.

Cookies

This site uses only strictly necessary cookies required to keep you signed in to member and staff areas. We do not use advertising or third-party analytics cookies, so no cookie consent banner is required for non-essential tracking.

Who we share it with

Form submissions and account data are stored securely with our infrastructure providers (Supabase for the database and authentication; Vercel for hosting). We do not sell your personal data. Providers process data on our behalf under their data-processing terms.

Retention

We keep enquiry, booking and application records for as long as needed to deal with your request and to meet our legal and operational obligations, after which they are deleted.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the processing of your personal data, and to object or withdraw consent. To exercise any of these rights, email training@vipsecurityacademy.co.uk. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
